We operate as a multi functional place making company that undertakes and facilitates Real Estate Development, provides development planning and Built Environment related services. We endeavour to create inclusive, economically vibrant and sustainable Neighbourhoods, Cities and regions. We do place-making at various scales, including regional, city, town, precinct, neighbourhood, street and site/ERF specific levels through a sustainable and integrated approach.

Our History
We were formed in 2015 as a transformative Planning practice. It was formed out of the vision of its founder, Yusuf Patel, incorporating over 30 years of policy and practical experience in the built environment across both the public and private sectors, and has delivered successful projects across a range of clients for over 10 years.
Leadership
Founder & Managing Director
Yusuf brings over 30 years of strategic leadership experience in integrated urban and regional development across both public and private sectors. As a registered Professional Planner with SACPLAN and former Deputy Director-General in the National Government, he has been instrumental in shaping South Africa’s national planning policies and implementing transformative spatial development projects.
About Yusuf Patel
Yusuf is a professional development planner with extensive experience in integrated urban and regional development, cutting across both the public and private sectors. As a registered Professional Planner with the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN), having over 30 years of experience in development and consulting, he has been instrumental in shaping national policy and implementing transformative projects across South Africa.
Leadership in National Planning Frameworks
He was part of the team that pioneered Integrated Development Planning (IDP) in South Africa and shaped the Planning system, including Provincial growth and development Strategies, regional development Plans, integrated human settlement planning and institutionalised Spatial development frameworks, also producing the first National Spatial Development Framework (NSDF) for the country.
